make the unwritten rule visible
The project started with the desire to record the sound bites or quotes, but I wasn’t sure what shape it should take. During my exploration the idea of the gaps of society stuck with me. In the series the unwritten social rules are often broken, which leads to funny situations. Typography also has unwritten rules and by going against this, the unwritten rule becomes visible, which yields an interesting picture. The main challenge was to visually fit the meaning of the quote with the typographic rule.
